The Plot: Same Boys, New Ghost

The story follows our three protagonists—Amar, Meet, and Prem—who are bored with their mundane married lives. In search of some “masti,” they head to a remote village called Dudhganj to sell Amar’s ancestral property.

However, things take a supernatural turn when they encounter Ragini (played by Urvashi Rautela). While they think they’ve hit the jackpot with a beautiful woman, they soon realize she is a ghost looking for a “mate.” What follows is a series of loud screams, frantic running, and the typical adult gags the franchise is known for.

Critique of the Hindi Audio and Syncing Quality

Usually, we don’t talk about “dubbing” for a Hindi movie, but in the 4K digital versions of older films, the Audio-Sync and ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) quality becomes very noticeable.

In Great Grand Masti, the Hindi dialogue delivery feels a bit “studio-heavy.” Because many scenes were shot in open fields or large mansions, the voices often feel like they were recorded in a booth and layered over the video later. At times, the lip-syncing feels slightly off in the 4K version, especially during high-energy comedy sequences. While the background score is loud and punchy, the dialogue clarity sometimes lacks the natural “room tone” you’d expect from a high-budget production.
