Now, let’s talk about the technical side. I watched the new 4K restored version. I must say, the picture looks very clean. The colors are bright and sharp. The green forests look beautiful in high resolution. It does not look like a movie from 1997. The team did a great job with the color grading.

However, I have some complaints about the Hindi dubbing. In many scenes, the Hindi dubbing does not match the lip-sync. It is very clear that the actors were speaking different lines on set. Sometimes the voice starts before the mouth moves. This can be a bit distracting.

Also, the background music is sometimes too loud. It hides the dialogues. I wish the audio mixing was as good as the 4K video. The voice used for the villain sounds a bit cartoonish. It takes away the seriousness of the scenes.

Is Jodidar worth watching in 4K? I have mixed feelings. If you are a big fan of Mithun Chakraborty, then yes. Seeing him in high definition is a treat. The elephant scenes also look great in 4K. It feels like you are right there in the jungle.
