The Story and Performances

He knows how to balance drama and action. However, I feel this movie is more loud and colorful than his earlier work. He uses a lot of zoom shots and fast cuts. This makes the movie feel very fast-paced. It never gets boring, even during the long songs.

I watched this movie in a restored 4K resolution. I must say, the picture looks very clean now. The 4K version makes the old costumes and sets look very bright. The color grading is mostly good. But some outdoor scenes look a bit too yellow.

Now, I want to talk about the Hindi dubbing and audio quality. Since this was filmed in the 80s, the post-syncing is not perfect. I noticed that the Hindi dubbing does not always match the lip-sync. In many scenes, Dharmendra’s voice sounds a bit different from his face movements.

The background music is very loud. Sometimes, it hides the actual dialogues. The 4K remaster has improved the sound, but the lip-sync issues remain. It feels a bit weird when you watch it on a big screen.

Viewer’s Verdict: 4K Watch or One-Time View?

I think this movie is a treat for 80s action lovers. If you are a big fan of Sanjay Dutt or Dharmendra, you should watch the 4K version. The high resolution makes the experience much better than the old DVDs.

However, for a modern audience, the story might feel a bit old. The action stunts are also very basic compared to today’s movies. I would say it is a great one-time watch for the sake of nostalgia. You will enjoy the songs and the star power for sure.
