I watched the recently restored version of this film. I have to be honest about the technical side. The 4K resolution looks decent but not perfect. I saw a lot of film grain in the dark scenes. The color grading feels a bit too bright in some places. It makes the skin tones look a little orange.

The biggest issue I found was the Hindi dubbing. In many scenes, the Hindi dubbing does not match the lip-sync at all. I noticed that some dialogues were clearly recorded much later in a studio. The voices sound “hollow” compared to the background noise. If you are a fan of clean audio, this might annoy you. The background score is also very loud, sometimes hiding the actual words.

The film was directed by Harmesh Malhotra. I usually associate him with the super-hit movie Nagina. Compared to Nagina, Choron Ki Baaraat feels very unpolished.
