Technical Quality & Hindi Dubbing

I watched the new 4K restored version of this movie. I have to say, I was impressed by the color grading. The reds and greens of the village look very sharp. The 4K resolution makes the old sets look fresh and clean. It does not look like a 30-year-old movie anymore.

However, I have some complaints about the Hindi dubbing. Since Venkatesh is primarily a Telugu star, the lip-sync is often off. In many scenes, I noticed the words didn’t match his mouth movements. The audio quality is a bit “tinny” in the dialogue sections. The background score sometimes drowns out the voices. I feel the dubbing artists did a good job with the emotions, but the technical sync is poor. It can be a bit distracting if you watch it on a big screen.

Viewer’s Verdict: Is it Worth a 4K Watch?
