I watched this movie in a 4K upscaled version. I must say, the 4K resolution makes a big difference. The old palace sets look very clean and detailed. The colors are bright and look much better than the old DVD versions. I liked the color grading because it makes the gold costumes shine.

However, I have some complaints about the Hindi dubbing. During the high-voltage scenes, the lip-sync is not perfect. I noticed that the words sometimes come a second after the mouth moves. This happens mostly in the action scenes.

The background music is very loud. Sometimes, it hides the clarity of the dialogues. For a Raaj Kumar film, the voice is the most important part. I wish the sound mixing was a bit more balanced. The 4K visuals are great, but the audio needs more work.

Is this movie worth a 4K watch? I would say yes, but only for the fans. If you love Raaj Kumar’s swag, the 4K clarity is a treat. You can see the expressions on his face very clearly. It adds a new life to the old “Rana Ki Maut” scene.
