I recently sat down to watch Bombhaat The Power Of Time (2022) in its Hindi dubbed version. I am always excited about sci-fi movies coming from the South Indian film industry. This movie was originally made in Telugu, but I watched it on a big screen to see if the Hindi version holds up.

In Bombhaat, he tries to do the same with Vicky and the robot. But I felt the “science” part was a bit weak. He keeps the scenes short and fast. This is good because the movie never feels too slow. I think he wanted to make a movie that kids and families could enjoy together.

Viewer’s Verdict: 4K Watch or One-Time View?

Is this movie worth a 4K watch? Well, it depends. If you love seeing clean visuals and sharp details, the 4K version is nice. The laboratory scenes and the outdoor shots look great in high resolution.

However, the story and the dubbing quality make it a one-time view for me. It is a good movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon when you have nothing else to do. It is light, funny, and has a bit of action. But it is not a masterpiece that you would want to watch again and again.

I would suggest watching it once for the unique concept. Just don’t expect a high-level sci-fi thriller like Enthiran. It is more of a “masala” movie with a robotic twist.
