The sound itself feels a bit thin. It does not have the deep bass we hear in modern movies. I think the restoration team did a decent job with the visuals. But the audio still feels very old. The director, Brij Sadanah, was known for making entertaining films. I have watched his other movie, Victoria No. 203. That film was much more polished in terms of comedy and pacing. Night in London feels a bit slow in the middle.

I also compared this to his movie Yakeen. I feel Yakeen had a tighter script. This movie relies more on the beautiful foreign locations. Brij Sadanah always knew how to make a movie look “big.” He used the 70mm style even back then. While this is not his best work, it is still a fun watch. Viewer’s Verdict: Is it Worth a 4K Watch?

I asked myself if this is worth the 4K upgrade. My answer is yes, but only for fans of old cinema. If you love seeing how London looked fifty years ago, you will love the 4K details. The cars, the clothes, and the buildings look amazing.

But if you are a casual viewer, the slow story might bore you. The dubbing issues also take away some of the fun. I think for most people, this is a one-time watch. It is a nice piece of history.
