I recently sat down to watch the Parankimala Hindi dubbed movie on my big screen. This film is a remake of a classic 1981 Malayalam hit. If you like rural love stories, you might have heard of it. However, the Hindi dubbing is a mixed bag. I noticed that the lip-sync is off in several places. This is a common problem with South Indian movies dubbed in Hindi. The voices chosen for the lead actors are okay. But, they don’t always match the heavy emotions on screen. Sometimes the dialogue feels a bit robotic. I wish they had used more local Hindi slangs to match the village vibe. Instead, the language feels a bit too formal for a rural setting.

I have seen many dubbed movies lately. Compared to big films like Pushpa or Kantara, the dubbing quality here is lower. Those films have high-budget dubbing. Is this movie worth a 4K watch? I would say yes, but only for the scenery. If you love looking at beautiful nature shots, 4K is the way to go. The village looks stunning in high resolution.

But if you are only watching for the story, a normal HD version is enough. It is mostly a one-time watch. The story is slow and might not keep you hooked for a second time. It is a good choice for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
