I recently sat down to watch Chudail Story (2021) on a lazy Saturday night. I have always been a fan of desi horror movies. Some are truly scary, while others are just funny. The plot of Chudail Story is something we have seen many times. A group of friends decides to go on a trip. They end up in a place that is supposed to be haunted. The story is simple and does not try to be too clever. I liked that the movie gets straight to the point. There are no long, boring subplots. Technical Quality & Hindi Dubbing

This is where things get interesting. I watched this movie in 4K resolution. I must say, the picture quality is surprisingly good for a small-budget film. The colors look natural and the dark scenes are quite clear. Many low-budget movies look grainy in the dark, but this one was clean.

But, I have a big complaint about the Hindi dubbing. The dubbing quality is quite poor. The voices chosen for the actors do not suit their personalities. More importantly, the lip-sync is completely off. In many scenes, the character stops moving their lips, but the Hindi dialogue continues. It takes you out of the experience.
