I finally sat down to watch the trailer of Baazi. If you follow Bengali cinema, you know Jeet is a huge star. This movie is now coming to a wider audience with a Hindi dub. I was curious to see how it looks in 4K. The trailer promises a lot of action, style, and drama. It is a remake of the Telugu hit Nannaku Prematho. I wanted to see if the Hindi version keeps the same energy.

What is Baazi All About?

The story of Baazi follows a son seeking revenge for his father. Jeet plays a smart and stylish character. Most of the movie was shot in London. I liked the slick look of the trailer. It feels like a big-budget commercial entertainer. Mimi Chakraborty plays the female lead. Their chemistry looks decent on screen. I think the plot is simple but effective for an action movie. You can read more about the cast on the Baazi Wikipedia page.

Technical Quality & Hindi Dubbing

I watched the trailer in 4K resolution. The picture quality is very sharp. The colors look natural and not too loud. I liked the camera work in the action scenes. The drone shots of London look great. It feels like a modern film with good production value.

However, I have some thoughts on the Hindi dubbing. This is a very important part for Hindi viewers. I felt the Hindi dubbing was a bit average. In some parts, the voice does not match Jeet’s personality. The lip-sync is also a bit off in a few scenes. When characters speak fast, the Hindi words don’t fit the lip movements. I have seen better dubbing in South Indian movies recently. If you enjoy dubbed films, you might like our other Hindi dubbed movie reviews as well.

Comparing Baazi to Other Films by Anshuman Pratyush

The director, Anshuman Pratyush, has made movies like Panther and SOS Kolkata. I have seen his previous work. He likes to make high-stakes action films. I feel Baazi looks much better than his older movies. The scale of this film is bigger. The lighting and the sets look more expensive.

In Panther, the action felt a bit raw. In this movie, the action looks more polished. Anshuman seems to have improved his style here. He knows how to show a hero in a grand way. Jeet looks like a true superstar under his direction. This movie feels like a step up for the director.

Viewer’s Verdict: 4K Worthy or One-Time Watch?

Now, the big question is: should you watch this in 4K? I think the visuals are strong enough for a 4K experience. The foreign locations and the action scenes look beautiful in high resolution. If you have a big TV, you will enjoy the clarity.

But is it a masterpiece? Probably not. To me, it feels like a solid one-time watch. It is a typical masala movie with a revenge plot. If you love Jeet, you will watch it many times. For a regular viewer, it is a good weekend entertainer. The Hindi dubbing might bother some people, but the action makes up for it.

Conclusion

Baazi looks like a fun ride for action fans. I enjoyed the style and the scale of the trailer. The technical side is strong, especially the 4K quality. I just wish the Hindi dubbing was a little more professional. It is a great movie for those who like revenge dramas. Jeet is the main reason to watch this film. He carries the whole trailer on his shoulders. I am looking forward to seeing the full movie soon.
