However, I need to talk about the Hindi dubbing and audio quality. Back in the 90s, actors often dubbed their voices in a studio after filming. In this 4K version, I noticed some lip-sync issues. At some points, the words do not match the lip movements perfectly. It feels a bit off.

The Hindi dubbing quality for the side characters is also a bit loud. The background score sometimes drowns out the dialogues. I wish the sound mixing was a bit more balanced. If you love high-quality audio, you might find this a bit annoying. But for the sake of nostalgia, I can overlook it.

Is Saudagar worth a 4K watch? My answer is yes, but mostly for the visuals and the legends. If you have a big 4K TV, you will enjoy the beautiful locations and the close-up shots of the actors. The expressions of Dilip Kumar are a treat to watch in high definition.

If you are a casual viewer who does not care about old classics, this might feel like a one-time watch. It is a long movie. The pacing is slow in the middle. But for a fan of “Showman” Subhash Ghai, this is a must-have in your digital collection. I suggest watching it once just to see the “Clash of the Titans.”
