I just finished watching Ajay Devgn’s latest action blockbuster, Singham Again. I have been waiting for this movie for a long time. Ajay Devgn is back as Bajirao Singham. The energy in the theater was amazing. If you love big explosions and loud dialogues, this movie is for you. In this review, I will tell you if it lives up to the hype.

The Story and Ajay’s Performance

I feel that Ajay Devgn owns the screen every time he appears. He does not need to say much. His eyes do all the talking. The story follows Singham as he takes on a new villain in a very personal battle. I liked how the movie connects with the Ramayana theme. It gives the action a deeper meaning.

Compared to his work in movies like Shaitaan, Ajay looks much more powerful here. He is fast, tough, and very cool. The supporting cast is also huge. You get to see many stars, but Ajay remains the soul of the film.

Rohit Shetty vs. His Previous Films

I have watched many movies by Rohit Shetty. He is the king of “Masala” cinema. If I compare this movie to the first Singham or Simmba, this one feels much bigger. The scale is huge. However, I think the simplicity of the first movie is missing.

In Drishyam 2, we saw a smart Ajay. Here, we see a destructive Ajay. Rohit Shetty has used more VFX this time. Some scenes reminded me of Sooryavanshi. If you like cars flipping and big sets, you will love his direction. But if you want a grounded story, you might find it a bit too much.

Technical Quality & Hindi Dubbing

Now, let’s talk about the technical side. I watched this in high resolution. The 4K quality is very sharp. The colors are very bright and look great on a big screen. The skin tones look natural. The dark scenes are clear, which is a big plus.

However, I have some thoughts on the Hindi dubbing and ADR (Audio Dialogue Replacement). Even though it is a Hindi movie, the post-production dubbing felt a bit off in some places. In heavy action scenes, the lip-sync does not match perfectly. I noticed that the loud background music sometimes hides the dialogues.

I felt the voice levels were inconsistent. In some emotional scenes, the voice sounds like it was recorded in a small room. It does not match the open-air setting of the scene. This took me out of the movie for a second. If you are a technical geek, you will notice these small sync issues.

Viewer’s Verdict: 4K Watch or One-Time View?

Is this movie worth a 4K watch? I would say yes. The cinematography is beautiful. The locations in Sri Lanka and India look stunning in 4K. The slow-motion shots of Ajay Devgn are made for a high-quality screen.

But is it a classic? Maybe not. I think it is a great one-time watch with your family. You will enjoy the whistles and the claps. It is a perfect popcorn movie. If you are a die-hard Ajay fan, you will probably watch it twice. For others, one time is enough to enjoy the “paisa vasool” moments.

Conclusion

I really enjoyed the experience of Singham Again. It has flaws in the dubbing and sync. But the action makes up for it. Ajay Devgn proves again why he is the best action star in India. The movie is loud, big, and very entertaining.
