I finally caught the trailer for Banarasi Babu, and I have a lot to say about it. Many fans have been waiting for this Hindi dubbed version for a long time. I wanted to see if the hype was actually real or just marketing. After watching it three times, I feel this movie looks like a total mass entertainer. It has all the elements like big action scenes and heavy dialogues.

My First Thoughts on the Banarasi Babu Trailer

The trailer starts with a bang. I liked how the main character is introduced. He looks strong and carries a lot of swag. The story seems to be about a man who stands up for his people. I think the action choreography looks quite polished. It does not look cheap or fake. I enjoyed the background music as well. It gives you a good rush when the hero hits the bad guys. You can check out more details about the cast on the official Wikipedia page.

How it Compares to the Director’s Previous Movies

I have followed this director’s work for a while now. If you look at his past films, he loves making “larger than life” stories. Compared to his last hit, Banarasi Babu looks much bigger in scale. His previous movies had a lot of family drama. But here, I see a bigger focus on raw action.

I feel the pacing of this trailer is better than his older works. In his last movie, which we reviewed at hdfolders.com, the story felt a bit slow. This time, he seems to have fixed that. He knows what the audience wants. He gives us slow-motion shots and catchy lines. It reminds me of the classic 90s style but with modern visuals.

Technical Quality & Hindi Dubbing

Now, let’s talk about the technical side. I watched the trailer in 4K resolution. I must say, the picture quality is very clean. The colors look very real and not too bright or fake. I liked the color grading in the outdoor scenes. The greens and browns look very natural.

However, I have some complaints about the Hindi dubbing. This is a big point for me. I felt the voice choice for the main hero was okay, but not great. The voice sounds a bit too young for his tough look. Also, the lip-sync is off in several scenes. When the hero says a long dialogue, his lips move differently than the Hindi words. This can be distracting for many viewers. I hope they fix this in the final movie. The side characters have better dubbing than the lead, which is strange.

Viewer’s Verdict: 4K or One-Time Watch?

Is Banarasi Babu worth a 4K watch? Well, it depends on what you like. If you love seeing every detail in action scenes, then watch it in 4K. The high resolution makes the stunts look much better. The cinematography is good enough for a big screen.

But if you are just here for the story, it might be a one-time view. The plot looks like something we have seen many times before. It does not offer anything brand new. I would say it is a great movie to watch with friends on a Sunday. It is fun, loud, and full of energy.

Conclusion

Overall, the trailer is a mixed bag for me. I loved the visuals and the action. But the Hindi dubbing needs a lot of work. It takes away the feel of the movie. If you can ignore the lip-sync issues, you will have a good time. I am excited to see if the full movie has more surprises.
