I recently watched the 4K version of the movie Enemmy. This film features a big cast like Mithun Chakraborty, Suniel Shetty, and Kay Kay Menon. I remember when it first came out in 2013. Now, let’s talk about the 4K quality. I saw this on a big screen. The resolution is much better than the old DVD version. The images are sharp. I could see the details on the actors’ faces. The colors are very bright. Sometimes, the colors feel a bit too much. This happens when old movies are upscaled to 4K.

The most important part is the Hindi dubbing and audio. Even though this is a Hindi movie, the 4K versions online often have audio issues. In this version, I noticed some problems. The lip-sync does not match perfectly in some action scenes. It feels like the sound was added later in a studio. The background music is also very loud. Sometimes, it hides the dialogues. I had to pay extra attention to hear what Mithun Da was saying. For a 4K experience, the sound should be cleaner.

How Does It Compare to Other Ashu Trikha Films?

The director, Ashu Trikha, loves making raw action films. I have seen his other work like Koyelaanchal. Compared to that, Enemmy feels a bit more commercial. Koyelaanchal was very dark and real. Enemmy has more “masala” elements. I think he handled the ensemble cast well here. But the writing could have been stronger. In his older movie Deewaanapan, the emotions were better. Viewer’s Verdict: Is 4K Worth It?

Is this movie worth a 4K watch? I would say it depends. If you are a huge fan of Mithun Da or Suniel Shetty, go for it. The high resolution makes the stars look great. The action looks better in 4K too.

However, for a regular viewer, this is just a one-time watch. The story is nothing new. The audio sync issues in the 4K version can be annoying. I think watching it in normal HD is also fine. You won’t miss much if you don’t see it in 4K. It is a good film for a Sunday afternoon.

Overall, Enemmy is an average action thriller. It has great actors who do their best. The 4K version is good to look at but has sound flaws. I enjoyed the nostalgia of seeing these legends together. But it is not a masterpiece.
