They did a good job with the color grading. It does not look like a 20-year-old movie anymore. The frames are clean and the lighting looks natural.

However, the Hindi dubbing is a mixed bag for me. I felt that Vijay’s Hindi voice was okay, but it lacked his signature energy. Suriya’s voice artist did a better job. Is this worth your time in 4K? I think yes. If you are a fan of Vijay or Suriya, you must watch it in high quality. The 4K version makes the experience much better. The visuals are crisp. However, if you are not a fan of old-school drama, it might feel a bit slow.

For me, it is a great watch because of the nostalgia. The Hindi dubbing makes it accessible to a much larger audience in India. I wouldn’t say it’s a “one-time view” only. You can definitely watch it with your friends or family on a weekend. The emotional ending is something that stays with you.
