I recently sat down to watch the Govinda Ki Superhit Hindi Action Movie in its new 4K avatar. If you grew up in the 90s, you know that Govinda is not just an actor. He is an emotion for many of us. However, the Hindi dubbing quality is a mixed bag for me. Since this is a high-octane action film, the sound effects are very loud. Sometimes, the background music hides the dialogues. I noticed that the lip-sync is slightly off in the action sequences.

The voice acting is good, but it does not always match the actor’s facial expressions. I prefer the original audio, but for a Hindi-speaking audience, this dubbing is okay. It is not perfect, but it is watchable. The 4K clarity makes up for the small audio issues.

Is this movie worth your time? I think it depends on what you like. If you are a big fan of Govinda, you must watch this in 4K. The high resolution makes the dance numbers look beautiful. It feels like watching a totally new movie.
