However, I need to talk about the Hindi dubbing and audio sync. Since this is an old movie, the ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) feels a bit off at times. In some emotional scenes, I noticed that the lip-sync does not match perfectly. The voices sometimes sound too loud compared to the background music.

The Hindi dubbing quality in the 90s was different from today. I felt that some dialogues sounded a bit hollow. But the high-quality 4K visuals help you ignore these small sound issues. I often compare Khalnayak to other Subhash Ghai films like Ram Lakhan and Karz. While Ram Lakhan was a family drama, this movie is much darker. It has a gritty feeling that his other movies lack.

I think this is his best work in terms of character depth. In movies like Pardes, the story was very simple. But here, the hero is actually a criminal. This makes the movie more interesting for me.
