I recently watched the Samara SOUTH ACTION Movie – Latest Hindi Dubbed Malayalam Movie (2024) on my big screen. I have always liked Rahman as an actor. He has a certain grace even when he is doing heavy action scenes. This movie is a medical thriller that tries to be very different from your usual South Indian movies. Now, let’s talk about the most important part: the technical side. I watched this in 4K resolution. I must say, the picture quality is very clean. The color grading is mostly cool and blue. This fits the medical thriller theme perfectly. The shots of the labs and snowy mountains look very real.

However, I have some complaints about the Hindi dubbing. The Hindi voice-over for Rahman does not always match his personality. His original voice has a certain depth that feels missing here. Also, the lip-sync is quite weak in several scenes. I noticed that the Hindi dialogues were longer than the original Malayalam ones. This makes the actors look like they are still talking when the sound has stopped. It can be a bit distracting if you are used to high-quality dubbing.

Is this movie worth your time? If you are a fan of Rahman, you should watch it. But is it a 4K masterpiece? I don’t think so. I feel this is a one-time view. The story is good, but the dubbing issues take away the fun. If you have a high-end 4K TV, you will enjoy the visuals. But the script could have been tighter.
