Technical Quality & Hindi Dubbing

Now, let’s talk about the technical side. I watched the 4K version recently. The 4K resolution makes a huge difference. The colors look very sharp and clean. The scenes in Mumbai look gritty and real. I liked the color grading during the night shots. It gives the movie a serious tone.

However, I have some thoughts on the Hindi dubbing. The Hindi version is titled “Indian Soldier: Never On Holiday.” While the voice acting is okay, the lip-sync is a bit off in many places. Some of the intense dialogues lose their power in translation.

I felt that Vijay’s original voice has a certain swag. The Hindi dubbing artist tried hard, but it doesn’t match Vijay’s timing perfectly. If you are a hardcore fan, you might find the Hindi voices a bit distracting. But for a casual watch, it is fine.

Is this movie worth a 4K watch? In my opinion, yes! If you have a good home theater, the 4K version is great. The sound design during the gunfights is amazing. The final fight scene looks stunning in high definition. You can see every detail of the action.

If you have already seen it many times, you might think it’s a one-time view. But the high quality makes it feel like a new experience. It is much better than watching a low-quality version on TV. I suggest you watch it for the technical brilliance and the background score.
