I recently watched the Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty movie called क्या पुलिस भाई मुजरिम का साथ देगा? on a 4K streaming platform. If you grew up in the 90s, you know these two are a legendary pair. In many places, the words do not match the lip movements. The voice acting feels a bit loud and dramatic. It sounds like an old radio play at times.

I think they could have used better mics for the dubbing. The background score often drowns out the dialogue. If you are a fan of perfection, this might annoy you. But if you just want to enjoy the “masala,” you might not care.

Is this movie worth a 4K watch? I would say no. While the 4K makes it look better, it is not a visual masterpiece. The movie is a classic entertainer. But it does not need ultra-high resolution to be enjoyed.

I feel this is a great one-time watch on a Sunday afternoon. It is perfect for when you want to see some old-school fights. You don’t need a high-end home theater for this. A simple HD screen is enough. The dubbing issues are more noticeable in 4K anyway.

I enjoyed the nostalgia of seeing Akshay and Suniel together again. The action is fun and the story is decent. However, the technical flaws in the Hindi dubbing pulled me out of the experience. The 4K upgrade is nice but not amazing. If you love 90s action, give it a go. Just don’t expect a modern cinematic experience.
