Dil Tera Deewana Movie Review: Shammi Kapoor’s Classic in Colour

I recently sat down to watch the 1962 classic Dil Tera Deewana. This movie is a perfect example of why Shammi Kapoor was called the “Elvis of India.” It is a fun, loud, and colorful romantic comedy. If you love old Bollywood, this film is a treat for the eyes and ears.

This usually happens because movies back then used “post-sync” sound. The actors recorded their lines in a studio later. In some high-speed comedy scenes, the sync feels a bit loose. The background score is also quite loud. Sometimes, it almost hides the dialogues. If you are a fan of clear audio, you might find this a little annoying.
