I recently sat down to watch K.G.F: Chapter 2 on my 4K TV. While Yash is the star, Raveena Tandon as Ramika Sen stole the show for me. I have watched many Raveena Tandon movies since the 90s. But in this film, I saw a different side of her. She looked bold and very serious. If you like seeing strong female characters, you will love her here. I think she outshone many of her previous roles with this one.

I watched this movie in 4K resolution, and it looks amazing. The color grading is very heavy on gold and black tones. I noticed that the shadows are very deep. On a good HDR screen, the metal textures and sand look very real. The cinematography is top-notch. Every shot feels like it belongs in a high-budget Hollywood film.

Now, let’s talk about the Hindi dubbing. This is a South Indian movie, so dubbing is very important. I was happy to hear Raveena Tandon’s own voice. Since she is a Hindi film star, her lip-sync was perfect. It didn’t feel like a dubbed movie when she was on screen.

However, for other characters like Yash, the Hindi dubbing was good but not perfect. Sometimes the words didn’t match the lip movements exactly. I felt some dialogues were a bit too loud compared to the background score. But the heavy voice used for Rocky Bhai suits his personality. Overall, the Hindi version is very enjoyable and doesn’t feel cheap.
